Description The English painter and early expounder of Pop Art Richard Hamilton is put to work sewing curtains by his host Lee Miller. Lee described how to 'harness your guests to a working pattern that leaves the hostess no duties save that of slave-driver' in a tongue-in-cheek article for British Vogue, 'Working Guests'. Alas, Hamilton struggled with his task and, according to Lee, 'never recovered from his humiliation'.
